‘An appreciation in recognition of sacrifices made by service people of New Zealand’
Royal Commonwealth Society (Canterbury Branch)
The Royal Commonwealth Society (Canterbury Branch) was among those privileged to lay a wreath at the ANZAC day services in Christchurch.
The wreath was laid by Society member David Bolam-Smith (pictured above with our President, John Latham).
The wreath implicitly recognised the sacrifice of all those affected by the tragedy of conflicts past and present, but explicitly recognised those who served in the Royal Artillery, of which Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is Captain-General.
